Osteria Zio Tobia

This is a beautiful hidden gem. Just off the main road (ss16). The food is of excellent quality and very tasty. The service is silent but attentive and the location is spectacular. Great for all visitors. We came to a 40th birthday and will go back again soon. Cannot recommend osteria zio tobia highly enough if you want authentic abruzzese cuisine. I was drinking beer but for wine fans the house red is also great.

Very nice place. Very good food, I recommend bruschetta and kebabs (I attach all the photos). Very friendly and helpful staff especially the lady who I believe is the owner. the only flaw was that the waitress took away the appetizer plates and I had already prepared all the dishes to help her but since I and another person had to share the artosticini I would have had to keep the appetizer plate which since it had been mixed up with the others I was left without. Overall very recommended. Average price 50 euros per person including 20 euro wine.

I thought it was a more "grunge" place but instead I found a modern, welcoming and elegant location. Great food; from bruschetta to first courses, including pizzas and kebabs, without forgetting desserts; all homemade. Friendly, helpful and prepared staff. Good service, a little slow but on a Saturday night and with a full place it's ok. The kebabs, both classic and chicken, are excellent. The homemade gnocchi with mushrooms (porcini, even if not specified on the menu) and truffle are amazing. The spaghetti alla teramana is delicious. The pizza is delicious, rich in ingredients and with a soft, light and digestible dough. The desserts are sublime! The sweet pizza as well as the Nutella cheesecake were the icing on the cake of an excellent dinner to say the least. I will definitely return to Zio Tobia on my next visit to Abruzzo; I have to try other dishes that have tickled my palate. Allow me to make just one small note: in the "Strepitosa" bruschetta, please note the presence of hazelnuts, someone could be allergic.

Enchanting environment, visited in the evening and therefore does not convey the beauty of the sea view but I have seen photos and social media to see that it is located in a strategic and suggestive point. Very friendly staff who pampered us from start to finish and exquisite food, typically Abruzzo and as close as possible to ancient tradition. I hope to come back soon.

We came here to Zio Tobia from Marche with 8 friends. I find it difficult to write because this can be considered a perfect dinner. Excellent food and I guarantee it as we took appetizers, first courses, second courses and kebabs. INDESCRIBABLE dining room staff, they are really kind, helpful and friendly, they make you feel at home. Overall the place is very nice and welcoming. Guys if you pass by here this is a MUST.
